Tis the Season!

Yay! Christmas is almost here, I can't wait...ok, maybe a little. I'm trying to decide what I'll be making for the party this year. The extended family gathering on Christmas Eve is at our house this year and I always end up making a few special things that I normally wouldn't make.

I'm considering making the lemon tiramisu since it is SO good but I need to come up with a few other things. I just can't figure it out. I thought I might save myself a little and get the iCakes from Costco but that's as store bought as I want to get since I don't want to make tons of tiny cupcakes. I may try to do something with fruit, maybe a pear and almond tart or something. I love marzipan anything and the holidays really aren't without some almond paste dessert. I'll have to think about it some more I think.
