Cleaning Cunundrum
I thought about just getting rid of them and getting some that are darker so I won't have to worry so much about how they look anymore. Yes, I'm trying to take the easy way. LOL! I loved all the rugs I saw on this site and the prices are great. There's extra savings all the time which is just my cup of tea. Like we all don't need to save a few bucks. I'd love to get rid of these rugs anyway...they were cheap and poorly made and they aren't my favorite subject (Disney princess castle for one) and bought only for a temporary emergancy. It really is too bad that I like lighter colored things though.
All Dressed Up...
I'm looking out for all kinds of deals for a tuxedo shirt, pants, and any other thing we might need for him. Now is a great time because wedding season is coming along and there's lots of great pricing out there. I found a good selection of shirts so far with great prices on this site so hopefully we can piece together something super affordable. I know people usually rent but since he doesn't have anything decent anyway, we might as well keep it if we can. I'm sure we will need it in the future.
Falling Off the Diet Wagon

Lately I haven't cared at all about how I'm eating or how much I'm moving. It's turned into such a waste of all that time I spent trying to lose the few pounds that I did. After about a month, I got back on the scale and I've gained five pounds. It made me sick since I'm still so far off of my goal.
So, I'm getting back on the proper way of doing things. I can't promise that I'm going to be working out as much as I'd like to but something needs to change and it will be my eating habits for sure. I had started eating late at night again, which is the worst thing to be doing. On top of that I do nothing all day and sit here. I thought of taking something like Apidexin (which has had fantastic reviews) to at least help jump start my weight loss. I could SO use the extra energy since I can't muster up anything decent lately!
Fast Easy Enchilada Chicken Recipe
Ok, chicken enchiladas are not a fun thing to make. Cooking the meat, frying the tortillas, then baking the whole thing takes SO much time. The last time I tried, I ended up with 24 ransid tortillas and a pain in my *. That was the last time I decided to make them without a doubt. So, I came up with a faster much easier way to eat something tasty. Like all my other recipes, this one is estimated since that's how I cook.
Chicken Enchilada (the "stir-fry" way)
serves 6-10
12 boneless, skinless chicken thighs diced
1 onion diced or sliced
3-4 tomatoes diced
4 cloves garlic minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Parsley for color
1 16oz can green chile sauce
In a large pan, sear the chicken then add the onions, salt and pepper. After the onions have turned traslucent, add the garlic and chile sauce. Simmer for about 10 minutes then add the tomatoes and simmer for about 5-10 more minutes. Sprinkle on some parsley and serve over rice or in tortillas.
How easy is that?! :-)

Travelin Gal Pals
A lot of my friends are going all sorts of places this year. I'm always super jealous because we can't afford to do much more than a day trip some where. It's really a crummy deal. One of my friends just went to Lake Tahoe and another is on her way to the Outer Banks. It's some where in the Carolinas and it sounds super nice. Right about now I'd love to be anywhere but here. I think it's time for some major hauling and saving to make sure we get away before the year is out!
B-day Bash
I think one of the worst things about being a parent is having to run around trying to find all the things to go with the theme of the party. I've been there so many times...you want something like this, but not with that, and can't find it anywhere. I can't even tell you how many times I scoured the internet looking for just that one thing for hours. One of the great sites I found is 1stBirthdayParty.com. They have all kinds of party stuff and some things that aren't specifically for a first birthday. But, if you are looking for first birthday stuff, this is the place to go since finding more than one theme with a whole line of supplies in a party store is almost impossible.

Cereal Confusion
About a month or two ago I saw commercials on TV for the jumbo krispies cereal and was instantly happy because of my love of the regular ones. Armed with my coupon I went out looking for it shortly after and found it NO WHERE. I checked every store that we have, nothing. The same thing happened to me years ago when Capt'n Crunch had an all berry one...never to be found. SO, to my excitement (yes, my life is really this dull) I saw a berry Kix cereal at Target. I thought it might be cheaper at a grocery store so there I went and nothing again. Apparently this cereal is only at this ONE Target store.
All this selective marketing is really starting to drive me insane. I never know if I'll ever see that one product again. If I buy it I will at a lower price and if I don't, I won't. Don't the stupid corporate people realize what a pain this actually is? I mean, I really start to buy even less if I fell that I have to go hunting crappy food down. I'd rather garden and deal with a host of different issues while eating healthily. Get with it people.
Diet Pill Recall
A couple of weeks ago Hydroxycut had recalled most all of their products due to possible liver failure. It was kind of sad since they've already had to do this before to take out the ephedra and they have one of the best diet supplements. To my surprise today's advertisements showed Hydroxycut on sale at CVS. I haven't heard anything about it being re-released so this is kind of weird. In any event, my feeling is that those people that had something go wrong probably had a predisposition that caused it to begin with or more people would have had the same serious problems.
