I was watching a show a while back where they showed one of those systems to control the power in your home with one switch. What a cool idea! I had no idea what there were these kinds of things out there but of course I didn't doubt it. Wouldn't it be neat to have one of those home automation systems to control a bunch of things all at once? I know I would love that because we have a lot of stairs in our house and having to run up and down to turn on lights or something else gets a little tiring. Sure it doesn't sound that bad but when you have a short child who never stops moving it can really come in handy! I worry about her going up and down in the dark but we really don't want to always have lights on all the time either. I think this kind of thing would be perfect for us and not to mention super techy LOL!
