There are all kinds of things that I've been stressing over while planning my wedding that's only a few weeks away! But now I'm really just worried about the reception. I have my dress, makeup, jewelry and hairdo all picked out. That was very easy. But I'm taking the reception into my own hands, or at least the decorations part of it. I wouldn't' trust myself to take on the catering.
I didn't just take on the decorations part of my reception to torture myself. I thought it would be an easy way to save money and have a little fun while I'm at it. The wedding isn't all about the dress either. People remember details about the reception and the ceremony, too. I've been collecting ideas from both my cable and internet over the past year or so from it and have clocked in a lot of time watching wedding reality shows for some great ideas.
I've also been gathering some things from flea markets to use as decorations on the tables. There are all kinds of things that I've found and cleaned up. They're definitely going to be conversation pieces and go really well with our fall theme.
