My mother has probably become the biggest cheapskate there is. There is nothing wrong with being cheap and saving money, but she takes it to an entirely new lever. She will not buy anything without a coupon or a deal of some sort. I think it all started when she found http://www.wildbluedeals.com/. She realized how much she could have saved over the years and it pained her. She then started researching other deal sites. Her favorite is southernsavers.com. This site gives her all the best deals around town on groceries and beauty supplies. I have to admit that she has saved a lot of money and gotten a lot of cheap shampoo, but the obsession is getting a little out of control. My dad had to clean out the garage because she wants to start a stockpile of all the extra items she is buying. Last week, she came home with sixty tubes of toothpaste. There is no way our family of four will go through sixty tubes of toothpaste. I’m not sure how to stop this new obsession.
